Paresh Rawal Opens Up About Hera Pheri 3 and Kartik Aaryan Removal

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, Paresh Rawal shared his thoughts on the upcoming film Hera Pheri 3 and reflected on the sequel, Phir Hera Pheri. Rawal is famous for his role as Baburao. recently his comments have caught the attention of fans and the film industry.

When asked about Kartik Aaryan’s role in Hera Pheri 3, Rawal confirmed that Aaryan was originally signed for the film. However, he clarified that Aaryan was not going to play Raju, the character originally portrayed by Akshay Kumar. “At that time, the story was different. They cast him thinking he would play Raju, but his character was completely different,” Rawal explained. He mentioned that the story has changed, which is why Aaryan is no longer part of the project.

Rawal also shared his disappointment with Phir Hera Pheri, saying that the film lost its charm because the team became overconfident. “Not me, but everyone else became overconfident. Then the film lost its innocence,” he said. He stressed the importance of keeping the simplicity that made the first film special, warning against adding too many unnecessary scenes. “If you overstuff the film, it will get messy. People will laugh at everything,” he added.

Talking about his character Baburao, Rawal highlights its popularity and value. He believes that just putting Baburao in a new setting with different jokes wouldn’t work. Instead, he thinks fans want to see Baburao go on a new adventure that captures the spirit of the character.

Looking to the future, Paresh Rawal has some exciting films coming up. He will star alongside Akshay Kumar and Tabu in the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which is set to release on April 2, 2026. He is also part of the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle, featuring stars like Raveena Tandon and Jacqueline Fernandez.
