Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has started her own jewellery brand called Palmonas. Recently, the brand appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4, but sharks were disappointed that Shraddha was not there during the pitch.
In a promo video for the show, co-founders Pallavi Mohadikar and Amol Patwari introduced their jewellery brand, saying, “Welcome to the world of demi-fine jewellery. With our third co-founder, Shraddha Kapoor, we are building India’s most loved demi-fine jewellery brand.” However, the investors, known as sharks, were curious about why Shraddha was missing. Aman Gupta, the founder of Boat, asked, “Shraddha Kapoor didn’t come?” Pallavi replied, “She was very excited to come on the show.” When Aman asked why she wasn’t there, Pallavi jokingly said, “I told her, yeh tumhari expertise nahi hai (this is not your expertise),” which made the sharks laugh.
Fans had mixed feelings about Palmonas being on Shark Tank India. Some wondered if Shraddha needed to be there, while others thought Shark Tank is a great way to promote a brand. One person joked that they would have gotten a deal right away if Shraddha had been there.
